Gratien Bakery is a branding and visual identity project created for an Argentine-style café and bakery located in Guatemala. The objective was to develop a brand that reflects the warmth and craftsmanship of traditional Argentine baking while creating a distinctive identity within the local café culture. The visual system combines playful typography, geometric patterns, and a vibrant color palette to evoke both authenticity and approachability. The project included the creation of the brand identity, pattern systems, packaging concepts, and a collection of visual assets designed to support the bakery’s physical space and digital presence.

Gratien Bakery was conceived as a café experience inspired by Argentine bakery traditions while adapting to a contemporary urban environment in Guatemala.
The design approach focused on creating a friendly and recognizable identity that communicates freshness, craftsmanship, and cultural character. A custom geometric pattern system was developed as a central visual element, inspired by textile motifs and traditional decorative graphics often associated with Latin American heritage.
These patterns were applied across packaging, signage, digital assets, and interior branding to create a cohesive and memorable brand environment. The color palette blends soft bakery tones with vibrant accents to reflect the inviting atmosphere of a modern café.
The result is a visual identity that celebrates artisanal baking while building a strong and adaptable brand presence across multiple touchpoints.
